Sorry for my bad english i ll try to be as clear as possible.

Many years ago i bought commandos BEL and 2, but the time kinda destroyed the CD. I managed to buy a pack with the first 3 Commandos from ebay, but BEL is broken. So i decided to download it using torrent, but i cant make it run on XP.

I downloaded some torrents, 1 with a iso, 1 with a mdf, 1 with a  .reg and .exe but all seems to do the same problem. When i run the .exe i can see the EIDOS intro and then the game crash with a error. I tryed to set the compatibility to 95/98, i tryed changing codec but nothing worked. I know that many managed to run on XP and they faced later problem with the speed but i cant even make it run till the menù screen.

I saw in this forum that post that link to youtube. I downloaded both the trial and crack but same error.

If anyone had my same problem and found a solution can please tell me how? Thanks

if your problem is can't install. try copy "COMANDOS" folder to your hdd from bel install cd.
and add info to regedit of save game. (note: the commandos folder around 450mb)

if your problem is can't run the Comandos.exe after install. try new setup your winxp.
the precondition is your bel version not question from download.
or else try downloading again.

Is the second. I install it but i dont install direct x because i have a later version and i dont wanna ruin my sistem. I launch the game after the instal and it crash. I tryed 3-4 versions found all over the web but all gives the same error

I really dont know how to do a new setup of winxp can you give me some advice?

use ghost winxp version.
or use winxp instal cd to setup.

Comandos.exe you tryed to set the compatibility to 95/98? try again.

I tryed to set the compatibility same error. i even tryed to change codec video or to delete all videos files but still nothing
